Lamby is not injured and totally bewildered as to why he is not playing..........as am i and a few others on here are. Common theme at the club seems to be lack of communication!! mad.gif

He is banned for Saturdays game (1 match) and then we will see what happens. Tindle has done ok out of position, but he is a better centr half.
To his credit Lamby has been fully behind the team even though he is totally P***d off.

The we bit is a bit revealing wouldn't you say?

Managers prerogative though - player need to understand that. Doesn't matter how good they (or we) think they are, they have to turn up and show the right attitude. Be big enough to sit it out if that's what the BOSS wants to do.
Perhaps the man who picked the squad elected to shuffle the back four in the knowledge that the ban was coming. We have a tough run of games coming up which Lamby would have missed, perhaps it was prudent to get the back four elect playing together ASAP. - Just a thought.

Totally agree with your comments CP, however my point remains it needs to be communicated, the reason hasn't been, not a good way to motivate people as I am sure you are fully aware! You are one of the first to criticize communication from the website at the club, communication is just that and you can’t pick and choose when to apply it

And as for being “big enough to sit it out if that's what the boss wants you to do”, 100% agree and this is what Lamby has done, I’m venting my spleen, not his!

Nothing to do with the Merthyr debacle is it? Not sure, but I don't think Harvey or Lamb have played since have they?

Lambs 1 match ban starts on Saturday against Stourbridge.

His ban is for two yellow cards at Merthyr

Only in the wiltshire shield game but I don't think that counts.

A car pulls up at the traffic lights. A small boy sits in the back and gazes silently out of the window, a pensive look on his face, while his father drums his fingers on the steering wheel. The hush is broken when the boy, a pleading, inquisitive tone in his voice, says: "Papa?" A sigh, a hint of resignation: here comes another one of those questions your kids ask that you can't answer. "Yes, son." "Why," asks the boy, "do we support Atleti Chippenham?" The silence deepens, his father is stumped. There is no answer, no logical explanation. Why do we support Atlético Madrid Chippenham Town?
